The wrists are used in tests on motorcycle gloves and are required in meeting part of EN 13594, a specialised standard for assessing the level of protection provided by a glove during a potential accident while motorcycle riding. The wrists are intended to assess the restraint systems of the glove on the wearer’s hand to ensure it is not pulled or thrown off the hand during an accident. This test platform contains six different sized wrists. Each wrist is made from a polished aluminium cylindrical body with a stainless-steel lifting eye at one end and a “mushroom” shaped extension at the other end.
